About the Role

This position is for a highly driven senior enterprise account executive who can expand revenue across an assigned portfolio of enterprise clients. The role centers on growing existing relationships, uncovering expansion opportunities, and acting as the main partner for important customer accounts by shaping solutions around their business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a designated portfolio of accounts and focus on growing revenue through upsell and cross-sell activity.
  • Track pipeline status, share timely forecasts, and keep account performance reporting accurate.
  • Run sales presentations and negotiate agreements to ensure client needs are met while maximizing business value.
  • Work with customer success, product, and marketing teams to execute sales plans smoothly and improve the client experience.
  • Build and deliver account-specific growth strategies that identify changing customer needs and business objectives.
  • Meet or surpass quota by driving renewals, new product adoption, and account expansion opportunities.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
  • Clearly explain the company’s value proposition and the advantages it offers across customer organizations.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitors, and product capabilities so solutions remain relevant and compelling.
  • Travel about once a month to meet clients.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring strong enterprise sales experience, comfort managing complex accounts, and a proven history of closing revenue opportunities in an existing book of business. Success in this role also depends on strong communication, strategic thinking, and careful management of pipeline and deliverables.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of successful experience in sales, ideally as an enterprise account manager, account executive, or sales manager, with responsibility for revenue growth in a closed book of business.
  • Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to work with C-suite leaders and senior stakeholders.
  • Capability to understand client needs, challenges, and goals, then shape persuasive solutions that drive growth.
  • Highly structured, self-driven, and motivated by results and quota attainment.
  • Hands-on experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and close business efficiently.
  • Strategic approach to growing revenue within enterprise accounts.
  • Strong attention to detail in managing both pipeline data and internal/external work output.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in a tech marketplace business; experience in the restaurant industry is an added advantage.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through deal closure in an enterprise setting.
  • Familiarity with consultative selling methods and customized business solutions.
  • A strong professional network that can help generate new business opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

For New York City, NY-based roles, the on-target earnings range is USD 248,333 to USD 276,667 per year. This includes a base salary of USD 149,000 to USD 166,000 per year and a cash variable incentive target of USD 99,333 to USD 110,667 per year.

The incentive portion depends on individual sales results and is paid according to the Sales Incentive Plan. The offer may also include equity and other compensation, along with access to various benefits.

For Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, and Los Angeles, CA-based roles, the total on-target earnings range is USD 223,333 to USD 248,333 per year, including a base salary of USD 134,000 to USD 149,000 per year and an annualized cash variable incentive target of USD 89,333 to USD 99,333.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles, the total on-target earnings range is USD 248,333 to USD 276,667 per year, including a base salary of USD 149,000 to USD 166,000 per year and an annualized cash variable incentive target of USD 99,333 to USD 110,667.

Work Arrangement

Office collaboration remains an important part of the culture. Unless full remote work is approved, employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the office. Some roles, such as those based at greenlight hubs, require full-time in-office presence. Final location expectations should be confirmed with the recruiter.
