Role Overview
The International Logistics and Expediting Coordinator will oversee the coordination of both domestic and international shipment activities involving materials, equipment, and components essential for production, project delivery, and general business functions at the Mills, WY location. This individual will ensure the smooth management of shipping logistics, customs paperwork, import/export compliance, and supplier expediting to guarantee timely delivery aligned with all regulatory requirements. The position demands excellent organizational capabilities, proactive management of multiple priorities, and consistent communication with stakeholders such as suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of shipping logistics within domestic and international environments, including transportation modes such as ocean, air, rail, truck, and multimodal solutions.
- Manage import/export documentation and ensure compliance with customs regulations, Trade Compliance policies, and use Incoterms in transactions.
- Utilize the Harmonized System (HS) Codes for classifying internationally traded goods.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills with detailed follow-through and prioritization abilities for multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Apply strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and decisive decision-making in daily operations.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal collaborators.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, along with ERP platforms and shipment tracking software.
- Operate autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve logistics goals.
- Maintain professionalism by delivering work with precision, accountability, and consistency.

- Follow all safety standards and OSHA/MSHA regulations diligently.
