International Hostel Caretaker – Men’s Hostel at Amritapuri

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Residential Hostel Caretaker to oversee the smooth daily operations of the Men’s Hostel at Amritapuri. This role involves ensuring student welfare, maintaining discipline and cleanliness within the hostel premises, and supporting wardens in administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support wardens in managing daily hostel activities and supervising students effectively.
• Accompany students to medical facilities during illnesses or emergencies.
• Respond promptly to student requests and coordinate suitable solutions.
• Enforce hostel rules to maintain discipline, safety, and a secure environment.
• Keep basic records and handle administrative paperwork diligently.

Requirements

• Possession of at least a Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in managing hostels, residential facilities, or similar accommodations is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic computer tools such as MS Office, email, and record maintenance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination abilities.
• Capability to responsibly manage student conduct and uphold a professional atmosphere.
