About the Role
Google's International Growth Team supports major businesses across EMEA in unlocking their full international potential by defining growth strategies. The role of an International Growth Consultant involves linking business and marketing goals with Google's advertising and localization tools, especially focusing on the Apps and Gaming vertical. Through strategic partnerships, you will translate data-driven insights into actionable commercial plans to fuel international expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide Google's clients through the entire business development journey from initial discovery to high-level executive engagements.
- Identify business goals and tackle operational challenges such as payment systems, customer experience, logistics, and localization barriers, crafting go-to-market strategies based on local consumer trends and data analysis.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the Apps and Gaming vertical, offering industry and product insight.
- Leverage your vertical expertise to recognize shared challenges and growth chances across the customer portfolio and actively contribute to internal expert groups and forums.
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership, including directors and managers, to optimize operations, drive sales momentum, and take accountability for delivering impactful customer projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least three years' experience in the Apps and Gaming sector or mobile ecosystem, with strong familiarity with both Android and iOS platforms' technical and commercial nuances.
- Fluent business communication skills in English for meetings and negotiations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum three years' background in digital advertising, sales, business development, or strategy consulting, adept in creating business strategies with limited information.
- Experience managing executive-level relationships with customers or agency partners in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing products.
- Proven success in providing actionable insights and commercial guidance to align with shared objectives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Robust business acumen, analytical thinking, and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
Additional Information
This position is based in Dublin, Ireland, with a salary range of €76,000 to €78,000 annually, supplemented by a 35% target bonus, equity, and other benefits. Individual pay is influenced by skills, experience, and education.
