Role Overview

As an Examiner for the International GCSE Pakistan Studies (2017 Specification), you will evaluate candidates' responses based on a detailed mark scheme, ensuring adherence to recognition criteria and examination protocols. Most marking tasks are conducted digitally through ePEN from home, although some subjects require handling physical scripts. Expertise in the subject is vital to applying the mark scheme accurately. Examiners receive a predetermined number of scripts to assess.

Key Responsibilities

• Mark scripts with precision and consistency to uphold overall standards.
• Provide sample marked scripts to the Team Leader by specified deadlines.
• Meet all marking milestones punctually throughout the marking period.

Experience and Qualifications

• Possess at least one academic year of teaching experience within the past eight years, specifically in Pakistan Studies post-qualification.
• Hold a degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Be a qualified and registered teacher.
