About the Role

ASHLP World Private Limited seeks a skilled Kitchen Designer to join their team in Sector 4, Noida. This full-time position focuses on crafting functional, visually appealing modular kitchen designs that resonate with a mid-premium brand image. The role caters to both business-to-consumer (B2C) clients and business-to-business (B2B) partners such as architects, builders, and designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit client sites to accurately measure spaces, identify utility placements, and gather customer requirements.
  • Create 2D plans and 3D visualizations leveraging software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, WinnerDesign, PlanIt, or equivalents.
  • Design kitchen layouts that enhance workflow efficiency, storage, and ergonomics based on the work triangle principle.
  • Choose suitable materials, finishes, hardware, and appliances in alignment with client budgets and company catalogs.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, cutting lists, and bills of materials for production teams.
  • Communicate design proposals and visual concepts to clients clearly, explaining options and costs.
  • Incorporate client feedback, finalize designs within set timelines, and collaborate with sales teams during quotation processes.
  • Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure manufacturability and resolve site issues.
  • Collaborate with architects and builders on larger interior projects to tailor kitchen designs accordingly.
  • Maintain comprehensive design documentation, revisions, and compliance with safety and manufacturing standards.
  • Keep abreast of current trends, materials, and hardware innovations in modular kitchens.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of practical experience in modular kitchen or interior design roles within agencies, manufacturing, or freelance settings.
  • Proficient in design tools including AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or modular kitchen-specific software like WinnerDesign/PlanIt.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of modular kitchen hardware, laminates, plywood, MDF, HDHMR, and finishes.
  • Strong client interaction and presentation capabilities, with experience in client conversion and upselling.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects effectively and adhere to deadlines.
  • Basic skills in costing and bill of materials preparation.

Preferred Experience

  • Background with mid-premium or premium modular kitchen brands.
  • Experience handling design projects for both direct consumers and architectural/ builder channels.
