Role Overview
As a Commercial Interior Designer in our Sydney team, you will contribute significantly to creating functional, aesthetically compelling commercial environments from conceptualization through to project completion. You will partner closely with senior designers, clients, and delivery teams to ensure design integrity and feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop imaginative yet practical interior design solutions aligned with client briefs and project objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve cohesive project delivery.
- Understand client brand, culture, and operational requirements to produce superior design outcomes.
- Create detailed, high-quality documentation supporting all project phases from conception to construction.
- Work jointly with Business Development and Construction departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Incorporate international industry standards and innovative thinking to enhance project results.
- Enhance your skills through mentorship and feedback from senior designers.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architectural Design, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in commercial interior design environments.
- Excellent visual communication capabilities for presenting design concepts, through sketches to polished presentations.
- Proficient in advanced design and visualization techniques including hand sketching, and software such as Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations, quality assurance protocols, and documentation standards.
- Strong organizational, project management abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective collaborator capable of operating independently and within teams.
