Role Summary
The Interior Designer will take charge of delivering comprehensive design services focused on assisting clients in material and furnishing selections, while ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle from inception through occupancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and interpret client objectives and project requirements.
- Create detailed final design plans using relevant computer software.
- Manage procurement and oversee installation of design features.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, including cultivating new business opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product ranges and effectively communicate these to clients to facilitate sales.
- Consistently meet or surpass personal sales targets, contributing to business growth.
- Develop project budgets by setting costs and fees.
- Specify appropriate materials and furnishings such as lighting, furniture, wall coverings, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a closely related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in interior design or a comparable field.
- Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or others.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
