Role overview

This position focuses on managing intercompany accounting activities and keeping internal financial transactions accurate, efficient, and on schedule. The role also supports closing activities and helps improve finance processes across departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee intercompany invoicing workflows and ensure internal postings are completed efficiently, correctly, and within deadlines.
  • Maintain clarity in finance records by handling intercompany reconciliations, managing clearing accounts, and carrying out regular balance checks.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and help deliver reliable financial reporting.
  • Work closely with specialist teams to keep current account accounting processes running smoothly and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
  • Use modern tools such as Amelkis to manage internal payment flows effectively and continuously improve finance operations.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training with a focus on finance and accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Initial professional experience in accounting, financial bookkeeping, or an intercompany environment.
  • Strong numerical understanding along with a structured, careful, and independent working style.
  • Confident use of MS Excel and ERP systems; experience with netting or consolidation tools is an advantage.
  • Good German and English skills and enjoyment of working in an international setting.
