Instructional Designer - MEATR FC Learning

Role Overview

The Instructional Designer will be in charge of creating, organizing, and maintaining content for diverse platforms and delivery methods. This role is critical to ensure content quality, engagement, and alignment with the company’s vision and brand identity.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold a comprehensive content strategy that advances the organization’s goals
• Create compelling, high-quality content for multiple channels such as websites and newsletters
• Review and edit content for precision, clarity, and uniformity
• Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to collect and confirm information
• Design and produce instructional assets including e-learning courses, job aids, and training manuals
• Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks like ADDIE and SAM to foster engaging educational experiences

Essential Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
• Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) or classroom training environments
• Familiarity with programming in languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Perl
• Experience with design applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong grasp on adult learning concepts, learning theories, and instructional design methodologies

Preferred Credentials

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fields related to learning design, educational psychology, or instructional sciences
• Knowledge of front-end web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Visual design skills demonstrated through mockups and style guide development
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite products including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and large language model basics, covering architectures, lifecycle processes, and optimization techniques
• Experience with multiple design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and InDesign
