Role Overview
The Transportation Specialist at the Network Operations Center (NOC) plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth communication among various stakeholders such as warehouses, category teams, and carriers. This role primarily supports inbound operations by managing relationships between vendors, carriers, and fulfillment centers to coordinate freight deliveries aligned with appointment schedules.
Key Responsibilities
The specialist is tasked with promptly resolving issues through data analysis and internal tool querying, making real-time decisions to maintain customer experience and business continuity. Handling vendor and seller requests via email, calls, or ticket management systems within an ambiguous and dynamic environment requires strong ownership, effective reporting, and problem resolution skills. The role also involves raising standards, eliminating obstacles, and recommending improvements to enhance vendor experience.
About the Team
The NOC Inbound Team oversees the complete inbound shipment lifecycle for vendors and sellers. This includes appointment scheduling, prioritization, sideline management, appointment adjustments, and other related processes across India and ECCF countries.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
- Proficiency in Excel for data handling.
- Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and clear verbal and written communication.
- Effective time management, ability to meet personal targets, and collaborate efficiently with internal and external teams.
Preferred Experience
- Advanced skills in SQL for data mining and business intelligence purposes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience in designing process improvements through automation and data analysis.
