Job description
Role Overview
This is a six-month contractual position within the Finance Operations team focused on ensuring precise invoice handling and upholding financial accuracy in accounts payable.
Key Responsibilities
- Match invoices from the ERP system against corresponding documentation, resolving discrepancies to sustain accuracy exceeding 98%
- Investigate and process credit notes, returns, and payment holds to guarantee correct accounting treatment
- Compile vendor statements and reconciliations to assist vendor management and financial reporting accuracy
- Conduct quality assurance checks on processed invoices verifying compliance with defined procedures
- Achieve set productivity goals while maintaining high-quality standards
Daily Activities
The FinOps Analyst will primarily work on invoice matching within the ERP system, address vendor invoice variances, perform quality validations, research payment discrepancies, and prepare vendor-related financial documentation. Collaboration with the finance team to resolve complex issues is essential, contributing to an efficient shared services environment focused on accuracy.
Team Environment
The role is part of a cooperative Finance Operations team committed to accurate and efficient accounts payable management. The team supports internal and external stakeholders ensuring prompt and precise payments. Members are expected to prioritize detail orientation and continuous process improvement in a supportive atmosphere.
