Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance comprehensive financial models for budgets, reforecasts, and scenario planning across various markets and service lines.
• Lead valuation and business case studies to support strategic initiatives, investments, and company projects.
• Investigate unit economics—including order economics, contribution margins, and cost per order—to pinpoint profitability factors and highlight potential risks or opportunities.
• Analyze and synthesize complex and incomplete datasets into clear, decision-driving insights for senior management.
• Create management and board-level reports featuring data visualizations, variance analysis (budget vs actual vs reforecast), and thorough narrative explanations.
• Collaborate closely with commercial, operational, and expansion teams to assess business performance drivers and inform strategic decisions.
• Manage recurring reporting tasks such as KPI tracking, dashboard maintenance, and performance reports, ensuring high accuracy.
• Conduct ad hoc strategic analyses, including assessments for market entry, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 4 to 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, business finance, or strategic finance, preferably within fast-paced consumer tech or marketplace sectors such as food delivery or e-commerce.
• Proficient in building robust, intricate financial models from the ground up without relying on templates.
• Experienced in creating models like three-statement financial models, discounted cash flows, or unit economics and utilizing these in valuation or business case analysis.
• Skilled at handling vague or incomplete data, structuring it into coherent and defensible narratives.
• Adept at producing professional, board-ready presentations and communicating complex financial concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial outputs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in multi-market or regional roles, especially with GCC region exposure.
• Familiarity with investor or board reporting and environments backed by private equity or venture capital.
• Knowledge of business intelligence or data tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python is advantageous but not required.
