About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-focused Instructional Design Intern to assist in crafting engaging learning experiences. The intern will collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, and stakeholders to aid in research, analysis, storyboarding, and development of eLearning materials. This opportunity suits individuals passionate about instructional design, content storytelling, and learner engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation of learner-centered instructional content such as eLearning modules, videos, presentations, and training materials.
- Assist in developing storyboards, scripts, learning pathways, and assessment items.
- Organize content following instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Contribute to microlearning, scenario-based lessons, and interactive content development.
- Conduct research on subject matter, industry trends, and audience needs to aid training content creation.
- Analyze and simplify complex information into clear, engaging learning content.
- Identify content gaps and provide suggestions for improving learner comprehension and interest.
- Assist with benchmarking and comparative analysis of educational solutions and methods.
- Help develop digital learning assets utilizing authoring and design tools.
- Support integration of multimedia such as visuals, animations, voiceovers, and interactive elements.
- Coordinate content updates and revisions based on feedback.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and instructional accuracy in all materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, designers, developers, and project leads through all phases of content creation.
- Participate in creative brainstorming for innovative learning solutions.
- Track project tasks, deadlines, and deliverables as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed education in Instructional Design, Education, Psychology, English, Mass Communication, Learning & Development, or related fields.
- Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong research, analytical thinking, and content structuring skills.
- Creativity coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Fundamental knowledge of instructional design frameworks like ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Adult Learning Principles.
- Basic familiarity with eLearning authoring and design tools is a plus.
