Job description
About Narwhal Labs
Narwhal Labs develops DeepBlue OS, an autonomous revenue infrastructure designed to help businesses manage and optimize communication across Voice, SMS, Email, and WhatsApp. As a recognized NVIDIA Inception member and Google Partner, the company is experiencing rapid growth.
Role Overview
This role requires a designer who takes full ownership of challenges from start to finish. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, independently defining goals and constraints, and producing thoughtful designs spanning product, UX/UI, branding, and internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine user flows, interaction models, and interface patterns for both product and internal tools.
- Proactively identify potential edge cases and anticipate failure modes before they impact users.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs align with real-world technical constraints.
- Integrate AI tools into the design process to support exploration, iteration, and production, while applying human judgment to key decisions.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in design, capable of working effectively without fully defined requirements.
- Strong UX/UI sensibility focused on system behavior and user flow rather than isolated screens.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design trade-offs clearly.
- Demonstrated history of leveraging AI-driven tools to accelerate design workflows.
Additional Information
Designers must commit to working onsite in Bristol, UK, for at least three days per week. The position offers a salary starting at £40,000, subject to experience.
Diversity and Inclusion Commitment
Narwhal Labs is dedicated to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace. They actively welcome applicants from all backgrounds and ensure a fair, accessible hiring process. Reasonable accommodations are offered throughout recruitment stages upon request.
