Job Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal hygiene and daily self-care activities
• Assist clients with light physical activities such as walking and exercises
• Help plan and prepare nutritious meals alongside clients
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness
• Observe and report any health changes or unusual events promptly
• Offer companionship that is both supportive and uplifting
• React promptly in emergency situations to ensure client safety
• Accompany and supervise clients during outings like shopping trips
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications correctly
• Assist with mobility and ambulation at home and during external appointments or errands

Additional training is available for caregivers wanting to expand expertise in dementia and Alzheimer's care.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent credential
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle for client transportation
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
• Training in first aid and emergency response (provided if necessary)
• Effective time management and multitasking capabilities
• Ability to reliably travel to and from client homes as scheduled
• Physical stamina to carry out duties such as grocery carrying and client support
• Comfortable performing cooking and housekeeping while following dietary restrictions
• Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations, including background checks
• Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to positively impact clients' days
