Key Duties

Support clients with personal care and hygiene assistance
Perform light household cleaning and maintenance tasks
Motivate and assist clients in achieving fitness and exercise goals
Remind clients to take medications timely and correctly
Assist with grocery shopping or shop for clients when needed
Plan and prepare meals collaboratively, respecting client abilities
Help clients with mobility including movement within the home, doctor visits, and walking
Respond swiftly to any medical emergencies, reporting changes or concerns promptly

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education
Effective time management skills
Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
Strong skills in communication and interpersonal relations
Basic knowledge of household chores and cooking
Ability to pass mandatory background checks and drug testing
Training or knowledge in First Aid and medical emergency response
Genuine compassion and desire to offer companionship to vulnerable individuals
Preparedness to adhere to state and company health and safety guidelines
