Job description

Overview

We are seeking an Import Coordinator based in Surat, Gujarat to join our team at Triple Constraints Consultancy. The role involves managing all aspects of import documentation, ensuring customs compliance, coordinating with warehouse operations, tracking shipments, and maintaining detailed record-keeping systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, verify, and manage all documents related to imports such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, trade laws, and internal company policies concerning import activities.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of cargo, while keeping accurate inventory records.
  • Continuously monitor shipment statuses, proactively resolve any logistical delays, and maintain up-to-date records of import shipments.
  • Keep systematic and organized files and databases to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.

Candidate Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related discipline is required.
  • Possess 2 to 4 years of practical experience in import/export documentation or logistics management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software applications.

Location for this position is Surat, specifically in Piplod area.
