Position Overview

We are searching for an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as the Head of Global Supply Chain. This role demands expertise in global sourcing within building materials and construction sectors. The successful candidate will lead the transformation of procurement and supply chain strategies, driving operational excellence and digitization.

Key Responsibilities

• Revamp procurement and supply chain frameworks by applying industry best practices covering procurement, inventory, global logistics, customs, tariffs, insurance, and administrative functions.
• Collaborate closely with the technology team to design and execute a fully digital global procurement system, utilizing platforms such as Procore, Sage 300, and other enterprise management software for automated price, ordering, and inventory management communication.
• Identify, vet, and partner with top-tier global suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts that assure quality and cost stability, and establish policies to nurture long-term beneficial supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, finance, operations, engineering, and business development units to align supply chain efforts with organizational goals.
• Establish and monitor supply chain performance metrics including product costs, quality, and demand forecasting.
• Continuously update supply chain processes to comply with evolving environmental policies, laws, and standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of eight years’ experience in global supply chain management and sourcing specifically in building materials and construction industries.
• Demonstrated proficiency in digital procurement solutions and supply chain software including Procore, Sage 300, and preferably enterprise-level ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of international procurement practices; APICS certification is advantageous.
• A high level of ownership and accountability for outcomes impacting company success.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in leading, mentoring, and training teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering, Business Systems, or Supply Chain Management; MBA or related master’s degree highly preferred.
• Fluency in English required.
