Role overview
This position focuses on helping companies and working professionals navigate Singapore’s immigration and employment pass requirements while staying aligned with current regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Track changes in Singapore immigration and employment rules and update internal processes so they remain compliant.
- Handle the complete lifecycle of work pass matters, including applications, renewals, amendments, transfers, and cancellations for pass categories such as Employment Pass, S Pass, Dependant’s Pass, EntrePass, Work Holiday Pass, Letter of Consent, and related permits.
- Evaluate client situations and recommend the most suitable immigration route based on their circumstances.
- Compile, verify, and lodge supporting documents with the appropriate government agencies, making sure submissions are complete and accurate.
- Prepare appeals and supplementary submissions when applications require further review.
- Guide clients through immigration procedures, compliance obligations, and document requirements at each stage of the process.
- Work closely with clients to collect information, share progress updates, and ensure all required actions are completed on time.
- Interpret licensing or regulatory conditions tied to different business activities and advise clients where relevant.
- Keep records up to date and contribute to process enhancements that improve efficiency and the overall client experience.
- Assist with other corporate service tasks and cross-functional assignments as needed.
Requirements
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Law, or a closely related field.
- Experience in immigration, corporate services, work pass administration, or another client-facing role is considered a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Singapore immigration and work pass procedures is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for building positive working relationships.
- Careful, organised, and able to manage several cases while keeping to deadlines.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working both on your own and within a team.
- A willingness to keep learning and the initiative to spot improvements and implement better ways of working.
