Overview
This position is being filled for a partner of Haystack. The role is centered on employee relations and supporting HR programs in a fast-moving business environment.
Role Summary
You will act as a key HR contact for employee relations matters, working closely with HR and leadership to guide sensitive workplace issues, resolve concerns, and strengthen the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main HR contact for employee relations matters and related initiatives.
- Work with HR and management teams to advise on employee concerns, disputes, and workplace issues.
- Spot patterns in employee relations matters early and take action to reduce the chance of larger problems.
- Carry out careful, timely investigations into complaints, concerns, and conflicts.
- Keep investigation notes and HR records complete, accurate, and well organized.
- Build productive working relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders to improve HR program outcomes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree and bring at least 3 years of experience in Human Resources. Background in a manufacturing setting, a high-volume warehouse, or sales operations is important. Strong client-service mindset, solid people skills, and clear written and spoken communication are needed. Comfort with MS Office tools, especially Excel, is also expected.
