Role Overview

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the company, with a focus on recruitment and workforce planning to fulfill staffing requirements across various branch locations. Collaborating closely with top management, this role involves formulating recruitment strategies, enhancing talent acquisition pipelines, and supporting overall organizational growth in the company's industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across all company locations, including sourcing, conducting interviews, and onboarding staff for field, operational, and corporate positions.
  • Create and implement strategies for workforce planning addressing present and future personnel needs.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with recruitment sources, vocational schools, and relevant industry bodies to reinforce talent acquisition efforts.
  • Handle employee relations, onboarding processes, performance evaluations, and ensure HR compliance.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to optimize organizational structure and hire strategies.
  • Administer company HR policies, procedures, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Contribute to programs related to compensation, employee benefits, and retention initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of advancing leadership experience in HR, particularly in recruitment and talent management.
  • Prior experience in construction, industrial, transportation, or similar industries is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Professional HR certifications like SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR are advantageous.

Compensation and Location

The annual salary ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 based on experience.
The position is located at the corporate headquarters in Cocoa, Florida.
