About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Human Resources Consultant to serve as an HR Business Partner focused on physician leadership and organizational development within the healthcare sector. This contract position spans over six months with potential for extension, offering a remote working arrangement across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate strategically with management and physician leaders to deliver HR consultation and support aligned with business goals.
- Drive and assist HR projects connected to workforce planning, change management, employee growth, and enhancing leadership capabilities.
- Facilitate workgroup meetings and collaborative discussions involving physicians, leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Create executive-level presentations leveraging PowerPoint and analyze data using Excel.
- Work alongside various departments to assist with physician compensation packages and related strategic business proposals.
- Advise and coach leaders and staff on employee relations, performance evaluation, retention strategies, and improving organizational effectiveness.
- Provide consultation on workforce structuring, organizational design, development planning, and resolving employee matters.
- Manage investigations promptly with precision and comprehensive documentation.
- Interpret and implement HR policies, procedures, and employment practices appropriately.
- Enhance performance management and developmental processes organization-wide.
- Identify training needs and support initiatives aimed at cultural transformation.
- Contribute to the execution of HR strategic planning and overall organizational objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or an allied discipline.
- A minimum of 5 to 6 years of consultative HR experience collaborating with leaders and business teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in several areas including Employee Relations, Organizational Design, Change Leadership, Leadership Development, Talent and Team Development, Compensation Management, Investigations, Legal and Regulatory Compliance, Workforce Planning, and Organizational Change.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and presentation abilities.
- Proven capacity to influence and collaborate without direct authority.
- Strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Thorough understanding of HR policies, systems, and practices.
- Experience supporting physician leadership or healthcare organizations.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft HR systems.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field is preferred.
- SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in leading organizational change and HR roadmap projects.
- Background in highly consultative HR roles.
