Position Overview

Evergreen Care invites applications for the role of HR and Administration Officer to support operations at our Raheny House Nursing Home, located at 476 Howth Road, Raheny, Dublin 5. This vital position focuses on nursing home administration with an emphasis on human resources functions and compliance with regulatory bodies including HIQA, HSE, WRC, and organizational standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage resident files, including maintaining contracts and overseeing Fair Deal documentation.
  • Issue and prepare communications for residents and process resident payments accurately using EpicCare software.
  • Coordinate with pharmacies concerning new admissions.
  • Handle HR paperwork including staff contracts, onboarding documentation, and employee records.
  • Collaborate with payroll for onboarding, exit processes, and salary queries.
  • Track employee attendance via Time Point system, manage leave records, and monitor absence trends to prompt management action when necessary.
  • Document and attend workplace meetings, including wellness and staff discussions.
  • Maintain recruitment and training admin, ensuring candidate tracking and booking essential staff education sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with Garda Vetting, IRP cards, work permits, and WRC HR documentation standards.
  • Support administrative tasks for nursing home management, including daily operations, audits, and coordination of the administrative and reception teams.
  • Facilitate logistics such as blood sample delivery to designated laboratories.
