About the role
Huawei’s Munich Research Center focuses on advanced technology research, architectural development, product design, and strategic engineering. The team is hiring an HR Specialist to contribute to a fast-paced, international environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support across COE areas, including HR policies, processes, systems, and templates such as budget control, hiring, workforce allocation, performance reviews, promotions, C&Q, talent growth, and HQ project subsidy support.
- Maintain regular communication with the HQ point of contact.
- Assist with HRBP-related topics and day-to-day team coordination.
- Handle support activities related to non-employee management.
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth HR operations.
Profile and requirements
- First experience in a comparable HR role and/or a completed degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business, or a related subject.
- Professional experience in HR; exposure to a high-end research setting is a plus.
- Background working across different functions and/or countries in an international environment.
- Strong communication and people skills, with a team-oriented mindset, cultural awareness for both European and Asian contexts, and openness to working in an international Chinese company.
- Fluency in Chinese, English, and German.
- Helpful knowledge of German employment law or visa-related matters.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
