Role Overview
Huawei is seeking a careful and proactive HR Assistant to join the Human Resources team in Düsseldorf. The position is centered on recruitment and talent development, offering support across the employee journey and helping strengthen the company’s talent pipeline.
Recruitment Support
- Assist with the complete hiring process, from publishing vacancies and finding candidates to arranging interviews and preparing offers.
- Handle day-to-day communication with applicants, hiring managers, and outside recruitment agencies.
- Review resumes and help with candidate evaluation and shortlisting.
- Keep recruitment databases and applicant tracking tools current and organized.
- Contribute to employer branding activities and hiring events.
- Prepare hiring reports and review recruitment data when needed.
Talent Development Support
- Help plan, coordinate, and roll out learning and development initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding for new joiners.
- Organize training sessions, workshops, and other employee development activities.
- Maintain training documentation and monitor participation.
- Gather and review feedback from training programs to improve future delivery.
- Support talent reviews, succession planning, and employee engagement efforts.
General HR Administration
- Keep employee records and HR paperwork accurate and up to date.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects as required.
- Help ensure adherence to internal HR policies and local labor laws.
- Work closely with different departments to support business requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar discipline.
- One to three years of experience in HR, ideally with exposure to recruitment and/or talent development.
- Strong planning and coordination abilities, along with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication plus strong interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience using HR platforms or applicant tracking systems is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; German is beneficial.
