HR Policy and Compliance Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable HR specialist to join us on an hourly contract basis, working remotely. The position offers flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 per week, with compensation between 10 and 36 dollars per hour. This role focuses on refining HR policies, enhancing employee onboarding experiences, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.

Key Duties

• Regularly review and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and related documents to maintain relevance and compliance.
• Design, streamline, and improve onboarding processes and overall employee lifecycle management workflows.
• Offer expert advice on HR compliance issues and employee relations scenarios to support the organization.
• Develop and assess strategies for internal communications and facilitate effective change management.
• Assist in refining AI-driven HR applications and resources by contributing HR subject-matter expertise.
• Work closely with various teams to confirm the accuracy and clarity of HR policies and documentation.
• Create well-organized HR knowledge repositories to support training programs and continual process enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in roles centered on HR policy creation, compliance, or people operations.
• Deep understanding of crafting and managing HR documentation and policies.
• Sound knowledge of HR compliance frameworks, onboarding procedures, and managing employee relations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
• Aptitude for simplifying complex HR matters into straightforward, easy-to-understand documentation.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable and effective working independently in a remote work environment.
