Role summary
This is a full-time, in-office HR position in Dubai. The company is seeking a proactive, modern HR specialist who can manage the employee journey end-to-end, from compliant contracts and payroll validation to helping shape a workplace culture that employees genuinely appreciate. The role reports directly to the founders and serves as the main contact for all people-related matters.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with UAE Labour Law and MOHRE requirements, including employee entitlements, working hours, leave, and end-of-service benefits.
- Run the salary process from start to finish, including WPS, and verify monthly pay, deductions, and commissions before payroll is finalized.
- Manage hiring and exit processes, covering offer letters, employment contracts, visa and Emirates ID coordination, medical insurance, and employee files.
- Keep HR records accurate and up to date, including attendance data and leave balances.
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives such as team activities, recognition programs, and culture-building events.
- Create, revise, and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and disciplinary procedures.
- Assist with performance management activities such as probation reviews, appraisals, and improvement plans.
- Serve as the first line of support for employee relations issues, grievances, and everyday HR questions.
- Support recruitment activities including job posting, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation.
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of HR experience in the UAE, with strong familiarity with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE processes, and WPS.
- Solid knowledge of payroll checking, salary structures, and commission-based compensation; experience in real estate is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with visa procedures and government systems such as MOHRE, GDRFA, and DHA.
- A polished, professional, and people-focused approach, with strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
- A creative, self-driven mindset suited to building employee culture and engagement initiatives.
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CIPD or SHRM certification is preferred.
Compensation
Salary is competitive and will be determined based on experience.
Additional information
This is a full-time, office-based role located in Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role requires direct coordination with company leadership and ownership of the full HR function.
