Role overview
Jetour is looking for a seasoned HR Manager to help build and support its Australia/New Zealand operations. The position is based in Macquarie Park, Sydney, and will focus on running local HR activities, keeping employment practices aligned with Australian laws, and working closely with the regional HRBP and business leaders.
Talent acquisition and onboarding
- Coordinate the full recruitment cycle, including communication with agencies and candidates.
- Prepare employment offers and manage the onboarding journey for new hires.
- Make sure the onboarding process is smooth and meets local compliance requirements.
HR operations and compliance
- Ensure HR processes follow Australian employment legislation and relevant Awards.
- Draft, maintain, and administer contracts and other HR documents.
- Help roll out HR policies and procedures across the organisation.
Employee relations
- Act as a day-to-day HR contact for employees and managers.
- Support matters related to employee relations, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with compliant exit and termination processes.
HR process and framework setup
- Contribute to building local HR workflows, documentation, and operating processes.
- Help design and implement onboarding, policy, and training frameworks.
Stakeholder management
- Serve as a local HR partner to internal business teams.
- Work in close coordination with the regional HRBP to keep local execution aligned with global HR direction.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a closely related discipline.
- 6 to 10 years of generalist HR experience, ideally gained in Australia.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law and hands-on exposure to Awards.
- Practical experience in employee relations and HR compliance.
- Ability to work on your own initiative while balancing several priorities at once.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
Preferred experience
- Background in building HR processes for a new market or startup-like environment.
- Experience working in multinational organisations.
