Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Recruitment Team Leader specializing in blue-collar hiring. The position is based in Kolkata across multiple locations including Kankurgachi, Moulali, Lake Gardens, Chinar Park, Sector V, and Southern Avenue. This role requires overseeing high-volume recruitment efforts with a strong focus on hospitality and food service positions such as kitchen staff, chefs, cafe managers, and stewards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a sizable recruitment team comprising 60 to 100 members.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for blue-collar roles across various business sites.
- Establish and sustain a robust hiring pipeline by utilizing diverse sourcing channels.
- Leverage professional networks, job portals, candidate referrals, and recruitment agencies effectively.
- Track recruitment objectives and ensure that hiring targets are met successfully.
- Collaborate closely with operations and business stakeholders to ascertain manpower needs.
- Conduct candidate interviews, assessments, and facilitate smooth onboarding procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws, recruitment policies, and related regulations.
- Maintain recruitment metrics and generate periodic hiring performance reports.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in blue-collar or volume recruitment.
- At least 2 years of dedicated experience recruiting for hospitality and food service roles like kitchen staff, chefs, cafe managers, and stewards, with an established candidate network and deep recruiting expertise in these areas.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing recruitment teams and operations.
- Proven sourcing abilities complemented by strong networking skills.
- Familiarity with job portals, vendor relationships, and recruitment agency coordination.
- Good knowledge of fundamental HR compliances and workforce management concepts.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
Additional Details
- Work Schedule: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekly Off: One paid day off per week
- Locations: Various locations across Kolkata including Kankurgachi, Moulali, Lake Gardens, Chinar Park, Sector V, Southern Avenue.
Compensation
Annual salary range: ₹350,000 to ₹450,000 INR.
