Job description
Overview
This is a blended HR Business Partner position with a strong hands-on remit inside a fast-growing technology-led organization. The role is split between shaping people strategies for the Product & Digital function and delivering broad generalist HR support across the wider business. It suits an HR professional who is comfortable working closely with product, engineering, and design teams in a dynamic environment.
Technical People Partnering
- Create and document career paths, role levels, and progression standards for technical and digital positions.
- Map capabilities and competencies, identify skill gaps, and convert the findings into hiring plans or development initiatives.
- Develop and oversee product onboarding bootcamps as well as ongoing learning and upskilling programs to strengthen team growth.
- Work with leadership to improve product delivery structures, operating rhythms, and clarity around responsibilities.
Generalist HR Support
- Handle the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, exits, contract preparation, contract changes, and key compliance administration.
- Manage offer negotiations and support leaders on employee relations matters to maintain fairness and compliance.
- Prepare workforce reports and insights on trends, organizational risks, and improvement opportunities for leadership.
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
- Strong HR generalist background at HR Business Partner level, with experience in contract handling and employee relations.
- Demonstrable experience building career frameworks, competency matrices, or progression models.
- Direct experience supporting product, digital, engineering, or design teams.
- Good understanding of organizational design and agile ways of working in knowledge-based settings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn unclear goals into practical operating structures while working independently.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to UAE or broader GCC labor laws and hiring markets.
- Background in consulting, govtech, or public policy environments.
- Experience creating structured onboarding bootcamps or technical learning pathways.
