Role Overview
The Senior Manager position within HRBP Consulting and Solutions for Behavior Management leads a specialized team of HR Business Partners focused on employee conduct and disciplinary matters. This strategic leadership role provides expert consultation to people leaders on complex behavior issues, ensuring resolutions comply with company policies and regional laws. Acting as a trusted advisor to HR, Legal, Employee Relations, and leadership, the manager drives operational excellence and fosters a positive, accountable workplace culture. The role is based in several U.S. cities with options for remote or hybrid work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture a team of HR Business Partners dedicated to managing behavior, accountability, and inclusion initiatives.
- Offer expert guidance on sensitive and challenging employee conduct situations, promoting fair and uniform decision-making.
- Serve as the escalation resource for complicated behavior and disciplinary cases involving significant risk.
- Collaborate with leadership to resolve workplace behavior issues, ensuring adherence to policies and managing interpersonal conflicts.
- Improve managerial effectiveness through targeted coaching, training, and scalable advisory support.
- Analyze recurring organizational challenges to develop best practices enhancing leadership and team dynamics.
- Ensure compliance with employment policies, laws, and regional regulations across employee management.
- Work closely with Legal, Employee Relations, and Compliance teams to address sensitive cases effectively.
- Identify risk trends and implement proactive strategies to mitigate organizational exposure.
- Refine case management processes and team workflows to enhance service quality.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor trends and guide HR programs toward improved outcomes.
- Build strong interdepartmental partnerships to support comprehensive HR and workforce initiatives aligned with company goals.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of advancing experience in Human Resources, emphasizing manager consulting and behavior management.
- At least 3 years experience supporting global enterprises within centralized HRBP or shared services frameworks.
- Minimum of 3 years in people leadership or equivalent roles.
- Deep understanding of employment laws and HR practices across multiple countries.
- Demonstrated sound judgment in complex and sensitive scenarios.
- Proficient in designing and executing HR and operational strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR operational functions.
- Strong organizational ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experienced in working within matrixed, global organizations with diverse stakeholders.
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and obtain consensus across various organizational levels.
