Role Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Lead for Tata Electronics Systems and Services (TESS) located in Narsapura, Karnataka, will spearhead HRBP functions at one of the organization's critical manufacturing facilities. This pivotal leadership role involves strategic human resource management, maintaining stakeholder relations, and facilitating people-centric initiatives that promote business growth, operational excellence, and cultural transformation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the HRBP agenda aligning with the broader TESS HR strategies across the site.
- Collaborate directly with site leadership to convert business objectives into effective HR programs.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality HRBP services among different site functions.
- Support efforts in organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and managing change.
- Work in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement initiatives surrounding Talent Management, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards.
- Advance employee engagement, experience, and inclusion specific to the TESS site environment.
- Leverage data insights to identify cultural strengths and weaknesses, leading targeted cultural interventions.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and Tata Group HR standards and practices.
- Collaborate with Industrial Relations and legal teams to mitigate risks and foster a safe and respectful workplace.
- Mentor and develop the HRBP team and site HR members, promoting accountability and continuous learning.
- Enhance HRBP team capabilities via coaching, knowledge sharing, and structured development plans.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 18 years of progressive HR experience with a strong background in HRBP leadership, ideally within manufacturing or Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, strategic analysis, and effective implementation.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment requiring agile responsiveness.
