About the Role
Join United Airlines as an HR Business Partner based in Denver, CO, where you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational performance by partnering strategically with DEN Airport Operations. This role supports career growth, health and wellness benefits, and travel opportunities within an extensive route network.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to translate organizational strategies into effective HR programs and workforce planning that promote sustainable growth.
- Advise and assist in addressing complex employee relations issues through data-driven analysis and root cause identification.
- Manage talent management processes including performance and compensation to enhance organizational capability.
- Provide governance and insight for HR initiatives and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Support senior leadership and frontline teams with policy implementation and facilitate resolution of advanced HR concerns including represented employees.
- Lead change management and organizational development programs that align with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or in a relevant HR role.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 15% of the time.
- Proficiency in analyzing workforce data and creating HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated multitasking ability with attention to detail across several projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and labor law compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability and reliability to support 24/7 operations with flexibility for off-hours availability.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of interview process required for qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant HR certification.
- Experience in the airline or aviation sector.
- Background working with unionized workforces and labor relations.
- Capability to effectively utilize generative AI tools for research, analysis, and problem solving, while applying critical thinking and adhering to responsible use policies.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $102,220 to $133,194 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, parental leave, employee assistance programs, commuter benefits, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k), and flight privileges.
