Job Purpose

This position serves as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries while delivering comprehensive HR and Payroll administrative support. The role ensures accurate record-keeping and supports recruitment and employee management processes to enable efficient HR operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and current employee records, including personal details, employment agreements, and illness data.
  • Ensure all Sage payroll system data for employee groups is consistently accurate and updated.
  • Aid recruitment activities by advising managers, reviewing resumes, shortlisting candidates, and assisting with interview arrangements.
  • Draft and manage HR documents such as offer letters, contracts, induction materials, and notices of change.
  • Oversee HR and personal email accounts to provide prompt and professional communication responses.
  • Collaborate with Payroll to manage payroll data, ensuring correctness of remuneration, benefits, and compensation records.
  • Coordinate sickness absence monitoring and related reviews with managers.
  • Support HR Advisors/HR Business Partners in conducting preliminary investigations related to grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Organize Occupational Health services and ensure medical assessments for new hires are completed and followed up appropriately.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple company sites is necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent entry-level HR certification is preferred.
  • Experience in HR administrative roles is essential.
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines consistently.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently managing tasks and projects.
  • Numerically competent with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, coupled with an approachable and trustworthy demeanor.
  • Comfortable operating within a live manufacturing environment.
