Key Responsibilities

• Direct and inspire the Housekeeping team to uphold superior cleanliness, presentation, and comfort standards across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Maintain housekeeping, laundry, and public space operations in accordance with IHG brand standards and Forbes service benchmarks.
• Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing issues promptly, accommodating special requests, and guaranteeing memorable experiences.
• Conduct frequent inspections of guest rooms, suites, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure consistent quality.
• Coordinate deep cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance, and room readiness alongside Engineering and Front Office teams.
• Oversee departmental budgeting, inventory control, linen, and guest supply management, seeking improvements in productivity and cost-efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the Housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous growth.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, hygiene, environmental, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Monitor operational KPIs, labor productivity, and quality metrics, implementing strategic plans for operational excellence.
• Collaborate across departments to support seamless hotel functions and an exceptional guest journey.
• Promote sustainable housekeeping practices by encouraging resource efficiency and environmental responsibility.
• Create and sustain a positive, inclusive workplace culture while recognizing and nurturing future talent within the team.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry, including leadership roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of housekeeping operations, laundry management, cleaning protocols, and quality control.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide, train, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking capabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, labor costs, and boosting productivity.
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong guest-centric mindset.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems and housekeeping software is advantageous.
• Fluent English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
