Role Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant (Rooms) is accountable for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across assigned suites and work areas.
Key Duties
- Keep suites and designated areas spotless, comfortable and visually welcoming to support the hotel’s premium image.
- Carry out housekeeping tasks in line with the hotel’s code of ethics and operational standards.
- Deliver guest experiences that reflect the brand SOP, local SOP and Leading Quality Assurance expectations, while working toward management targets.
- Protect the reputation of the hotel by maintaining an excellent impression of its services, products and team.
- Notice resident preferences, respond in a discreet and helpful way, and provide timely personalised service.
- Share any observed resident preferences with the Assistant Manager for follow-up and guest profile recording.
- Immediately submit any found personal belongings to the housekeeping office.
- Keep pantries and work areas orderly and clean throughout the shift and before handover.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, properly maintained and fit for use at all times.
- Plan and manage work efficiently so all allocated tasks are completed before shift end.
- Adapt positively to changes in operational requirements and departmental needs.
- Follow workplace safety and health procedures at all times.
- Take on other duties assigned by management and participate in colleague meetings or related activities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant has completed primary school education and, while English reading and speaking ability is preferred, it is not essential. The role suits someone with strong people skills, cultural awareness and the ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. A successful candidate will be service-minded, attentive to detail, able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-moving environment, adaptable to change and self-driven.
