Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest accommodations, including rooms, suites, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas, maintaining hotel quality standards.
• Change linens, make beds, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities regularly.
• Utilize cleaning processes such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and disinfecting both guest and common areas.
• Inspect rooms to confirm cleanliness, safety, and presentation meet established guidelines.
• Report any maintenance faults or damaged furniture and equipment to the appropriate departments.
• Ensure housekeeping carts are stocked with necessary linens, toiletries, cleaning materials, and guest items.
• Respond swiftly to guest requests for additional room supplies.
• Adhere to scheduled housekeeping tasks and manage room assignments efficiently.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly, following safety protocols.
• Comply with all hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards continuously.
• Collaborate with front office and maintenance teams to guarantee rooms are guest-ready.
• Manage lost and found items following internal procedures.
• Maintain detailed housekeeping logs and daily cleaning reports.
• Deliver courteous, professional service that ensures guest satisfaction.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special housekeeping projects as needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience as a Housekeeping Attendant or similar roles such as Room Attendant, Hotel Cleaner, or Public Area Attendant is advantageous.
• Background in hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, or healthcare hospitality preferred.
• Understanding of housekeeping methods, cleaning techniques, and hospitality service expectations.
• Knowledge of cleaning tools, chemicals, and safe usage practices.
• Physically capable of extended periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive cleaning actions.
• Proficient in English communication; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Detail-oriented with dedication to maintaining cleanliness.
• Flexible to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Possess a positive, team-focused attitude with strong customer service skills.
