Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Food Packer to handle the preparation and packaging of meals and beverages for airlines at Changi Airport, specifically near Terminal 2. This role requires adherence to stringent food safety and quality standards while working on a night shift schedule.
Working Hours and Schedule
- 44 hours per week, based on an onsite roster.
- Five working days per week.
- Shift timing: 10 PM to 8 AM.
Duration and Employment Type
- Long term project with a minimum commitment of 2 years.
- Full-time employment.
Qualifications and Certifications
- No specific educational background required.
- Mandatory: Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack meals, snacks, and beverages in accordance with flight schedules and specifications.
- Ensure correct portion sizes, proper labeling, and secure sealing of food items.
- Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards compliant with HACCP/GMP.
- Inspect food quality, freshness, and presentation before packing.
- Comply with airline catering guidelines and loading instructions.
- Keep workstations, packing tools, and areas clean and sanitary.
- Assist with inventory management to reduce food wastage.
- Work efficiently to meet strict deadlines and flight departure times.
- Adhere to company policies regarding health and safety at all times.
