Role overview
Get You Housekeeping is seeking experienced housekeepers and residential cleaners for regular home cleaning assignments in Marrickville and nearby suburbs. The company has more than 14 years of experience delivering weekly cleaning services across Sydney and Brisbane.
What you’ll receive
- Pay ranges from $33.84 to $47.75 per hour, with wages issued weekly on Tuesdays.
- Consistent weekly clients rather than one-off jobs.
- Work is limited to weekdays only, with no weekend shifts or late-night hours.
- Shifts are generally 3 to 4 hours at minimum.
- Clients supply the cleaning products and equipment needed for the job.
- Paid on-site training is provided before you begin.
- You’ll work with a supportive and approachable management team.
- There are opportunities to develop and grow within the business.
Key duties
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces.
- Vacuum and mop floors as part of routine upkeep.
- Make beds and change bed linen when needed.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and ironing.
- Carry out general tidying and household organisation.
Candidate profile
- Prior experience in housekeeping or residential cleaning is required.
- You must be available to work any weekday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
- Preference is for applicants living in Marrickville or nearby areas, or those willing to travel locally.
- Converse English communication skills are needed.
- Applicants must have valid Australian work rights.
Additional information
Working Holiday Visa holders may apply if they have strong residential cleaning experience and can commit for at least six months.
This role is designed for people who want steady weekly work with the same clients. Unlike short-term gig-style cleaning, the company focuses on placing cleaners in homes close to where they live to reduce travel and support long-term client relationships.
