Overview
If you have a keen eye for detail and are passionate about maintaining a safe, hygienic environment for vulnerable individuals, consider joining the dedicated housekeeping team at Wellesley Hospital.
You will play a vital role in cleaning all parts of the mental health service facility including wards, offices, bedrooms, and visitor areas. Collaborating closely with the maintenance team, your goal will be to ensure impeccable cleanliness standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhering to hospital security protocols and policies to uphold safety.
- Actively participating in daily operations as a valued team member.
- Delivering professional telephone etiquette and greeting visitors courteously.
- Building and sustaining positive relationships with colleagues, visitors, and service users.
- Contributing to fostering a constructive workplace culture.
- Performing additional relevant duties as assigned.
- Attending all mandatory and statutory training annually as required.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in cleaning, preferably within similar healthcare or institutional settings.
- Enjoyment and pride in achieving high-quality cleaning results.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills to manage tasks effectively.
- Good communication abilities.

Work Location
This role is based at Wellesley Hospital located at Westpark 26, Chelston, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 9FF. The hospital is a purpose-built 101-bed mental health facility serving adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism. It operates in partnership with multiple NHS trusts to deliver outstanding patient care.

- Annual salary of £25,564.50.
