Job Overview

We are actively seeking full-time and part-time Housekeepers to maintain cleanliness at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, AL. This role involves performing light cleaning tasks to ensure a tidy and sanitary environment in healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, quality customer service through detailed individual care.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors regularly.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies and shampoo upholstery as needed.
• Dust, polish furniture, and clean metal fixtures.
• Empty and sanitize trash receptacles, disposing of waste properly.
• Clean washbasins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and glass surfaces effectively.
• Make beds and change linens following prescribed standards.
• Adjust furniture and amenities to designated arrangements.
• Address guest questions and requests promptly.
• Respond to housekeeping concerns such as spills or broken items swiftly.
• Collaborate professionally with colleagues and maintain a team-focused approach.
• Perform additional assigned duties as required.

Work Schedule

Positions are available both full-time and part-time. Work hours and days may vary and include rotating weekends and holidays. Detailed scheduling information will be disclosed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior experience in housekeeping is mandatory.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate for this role is fixed at $13.50.
