Role Overview
The Housekeeper role is crucial in maintaining high standards within the home. Responsibilities include meticulous cleaning of residents' rooms and public areas, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, the housekeeper manages residents' personal laundry with care, including washing, pressing, and folding clothing and bedding to impeccable standards. This role greatly contributes to the wellbeing and comfort of residents.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is proactive and ambitious, dedicated to supporting a person-centered care environment. They demonstrate an excellent eye for detail, a friendly and compassionate manner, and the ability to interact positively with both residents and their families. Experience in housekeeping or laundry assistance is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with the care sector and understanding its requirements are also beneficial.
