Role overview
This position is for a Guest Service Expert at a luxury hospitality property in Saudi Arabia. The role is centered on creating a polished and memorable dining experience for guests, with food and beverages supporting the overall service experience rather than being the only focus.
The assignment is a full-time, non-management role based in Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. It is not a remote position.
What you will do
- Deliver attentive guest service throughout the dining experience.
- Set up tables and prepare the service area as required.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to keep service running smoothly.
- Interact with guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Serve food and beverages and handle guest transactions as part of the overall experience.
- Clean work areas and service supplies to maintain order and readiness.
Work expectations
The role requires constant movement and a strong hands-on approach. You may need to stand, sit, or walk for long periods, including on uneven, sloping, or slippery surfaces. The job also involves reading and checking menu details visually and handling physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, placing, and reaching for items. The weight involved is up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching above or below the knees may also be part of the work.
Maintaining a safe work environment, following company procedures, meeting quality standards, and presenting yourself professionally through uniform, appearance, and communication are essential to success in this role.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. The role is suitable for candidates with less than 1 year of related work experience. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
