About the role

This position is for a Human Resources Coordinator at The St. Regis Singapore, located at 29 Tanglin Road, Singapore 247911. It is a full-time, non-management role based onsite. The post supports daily HR operations and helps maintain efficient administration, accurate records, and a professional employee experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Organise and keep filing systems up to date.
  • Draft and type office correspondence on a computer.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Order and monitor HR office supplies and forms.
  • Handle phone calls and note down messages accurately.
  • Prepare new employee personnel files.
  • Help walk-in candidates complete application procedures.
  • Keep the application area tidy, properly maintained, and accessible for people with disabilities.
  • Respond to employee and management queries, requests, and concerns about company and HR policies and programmes.
  • Escalate employee-relations matters to HR management when needed.
  • Protect the confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
  • Maintain complete and accurate employee documentation, including interview records and I-9 files.

  • Follow company rules, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality.
  • Safeguard company assets and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Greet guests in line with company service standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Use proper telephone etiquette and prepare documents carefully and accurately.
  • Build positive working relationships and contribute to shared team goals.
  • Listen carefully and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
  • Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve job-related information.
  • Handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience. No supervisory background is required, and no licence or certification is needed.
