Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hostess to join our Food and Beverage team at Madinat Jumeirah starting September 2026. This role demands delivering exceptional guest welcoming services, managing dining reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience that upholds the premium standards of Jumeirah hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and engage them in friendly interaction to create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere upon arrival.
• Manage dining reservations and coordinate special requests and celebrations in line with established Restaurant Reservations procedures.
• Efficiently handle dining inquiries and bookings using the F&B Enquiry/Booking checklist to maintain high service standards.
• Escort guests to their tables, introducing them to service staff, matching dining pace, and providing menus immediately after seating.
• Gain thorough knowledge of the menu and signature offerings to answer guest questions, describe special dishes, and suggest complementary food and beverage pairings.
• Provide personalized service to VIPs and regular guests, remembering their preferences, dietary restrictions, preferred seating, and privacy requirements.
• Anticipate guest needs, including special requirements, and deliver service that surpasses expectations conforming to the Heart of Jumeirah standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all guest information and interactions.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Opera Cloud.
• Experience in multicultural environments.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in guest service within a 5-star hotel setting.
