Role Overview

This position involves working full-time, onsite in Patna, Bihar, delivering quality home tuition to students from 1st to 10th grade. Responsibilities include creating and following lesson plans tailored to each student's learning needs, teaching core school subjects in alignment with school curricula, and fostering an environment conducive to effective learning.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular, structured tutoring sessions at students' residences.
• Explain academic concepts clearly using age-appropriate language.
• Assign and evaluate homework tasks.
• Prepare students for periodic tests and examinations.
• Monitor and report student progress consistently.
• Maintain ongoing communication with parents or guardians regarding student performance and progress.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit diverse learning styles and needs.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment.

Candidate Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of core academic subjects for classes 1 through 10.
• Capability to design effective lesson plans and manage a home learning environment efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to listen actively and provide constructive feedback.
• Patience, empathy, and motivational skills to boost student confidence and engagement.
• Basic understanding of academic evaluation methods, test preparation, and familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, or State Board curricula.
• Possession of at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Education or a related discipline.
• Prior tutoring or formal teaching experience is an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Patna, demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and professional conduct throughout.
