Join Orkin as a Home Sales Inspector and leverage your sales expertise in the pest control industry. This role involves inspecting homes thoroughly, providing customized pest control solutions, and building lasting customer relationships while utilizing cutting-edge sales technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish trust during in-home consultations with customers.
  • Conduct comprehensive home inspections, including attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other areas.
  • Apply specialized training and tools to recommend effective, tailored pest control plans.
  • Confidently close sales using an iPad-based system.
  • Expand client base through company leads and personal prospecting efforts.
  • Safely operate a company-provided vehicle.
  • Work safely in various physical environments such as ladders and confined spaces.
  • Prioritize safety throughout all job functions including equipment use and weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Earn an average of $70,000 to $95,000 in your first year, combining base salary and commission.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Be physically capable of performing fieldwork and working independently.
  • Willingness to obtain any required state licenses; company provides training and coverage for licensing costs.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and self-motivation.

Physical and Work Environment

  • Safely use ladders within specified manufacturer weight limits.
  • Occasionally carry loads up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortably access confined and elevated spaces such as crawl spaces, rooftops, and attics, including crouching, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, occasionally including an OSHA-compliant respirator.
  • Be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions.
