Job description
Position Overview
The Department of Education and Training seeks a dedicated Home Liaison Officer to work from Tennant Creek High School. The incumbent will play a vital role in enhancing student educational success and maintaining high attendance rates by fostering effective communication and collaboration with families, school staff, and the wider school community. This role involves developing and sustaining networks that connect families, students, schools, and outside organizations to facilitate comprehensive support services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with families, school personnel, and community members to improve student outcomes and attendance.
- Establish and support lasting networks to integrate services for students and their families.
- Conduct follow-up visits at students' homes to address school non-attendance.
Additional Information
- Location: Tennant Creek High School, Tennant Creek, Northern Territory.
- Salary Package: Total remuneration ranges from $87,843 to $100,149, inclusive of a base salary between $74,250 and $84,652.
- Position Classification: Administrative Officer Level 4 (96%).
