About the Role
Speedy is the UK's foremost provider of hire services, offering a comprehensive range of tools, specialized equipment, plant machinery, and support services tailored for every job. We are currently looking to hire a Hire Controller based at our Bristol depot. This role is central to our operational team, focusing on sales and customer service by managing the entire hire process efficiently from order placement through delivery and return.
Key Responsibilities
Working primarily at your desk, you will coordinate daily with various departments including stock teams, drivers, and engineers to ensure equipment availability and quick fulfillment of customer needs, minimizing delays and enhancing service satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
We seek individuals who are highly organized and possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Adaptability and a commitment to personal and professional growth are essential. Candidates should hold a valid driving license and have prior experience within the hire industry or similar operational or sales roles. Supporting our business unit in delivering our ESG Strategy, "Decade to Deliver," is expected.
Working Hours
Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 42 hours per week.
